Hull Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Service is a service run
by women for women

We are still here for you! We are still here and committed to supporting women & girls who have experienced sexual violence.

We are aiming to maintain our service as best as we can while following government guidelines regarding Coronavirus.
We won't be meeting anyone in person but we are working in different ways to make sure we are still able to support women & girls.
Our service is usually face-to-face and we have contacted all our current clients to discuss how we can continue to support them. We remain open for referrals via email or mobile phone (text) however, please be aware there will be longer waiting times. All our health and safety is important so stay safe, go careful and above all be kind to one another.

We believe that any form of violence towards women is based on power.
We recognise that women and girls can be abused by men, women or by more than one person. HRCSAS delivers a free confidential counselling service through trained counsellors, who conduct one-to-one counselling sessions by appointment.

We provide a telephone helpline, through which women can access support anonymously. The helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4pm, with a 24-hour answer machine available. Support and information is also provided by text, letter and e-mail when requested.

We also provide a weekly drop-in on a Wednesday morning, 10am till 1pm. This service supports women with other issues that they may have, for example housing and benefits. Additionally, an outreach service is provided at the local women’s centre and a local women’s hostel. We also provide information and support to third parties, such as friends, partner, family members and professionals.
